KUPAKUPA BEACH - The unique features of Kupakupa are the huge banyan trees growing along the shore. Due to its shelter location inside the bay, which keeps the waters here always very calm, this beach is an ideal spot for watersports such as swimming, canoening and snorkeling. The coral reefs along the northern section of the beach are some of the finest off the coast of North Halmahera.
KUMO ISLAND - On Sundays, Kumo beach on the island of the same name becomes one of the busiest beaches in North Halmahera. It is populer with visitors both because of its proximity to Tobelo, only 5 minutes away by traditional motorized canoe, and also for its beautiful natural surrounding. Besides swimming, we can have a fine view of Tobelo town right in front of us.
LUARI BEACH - Luari beach faces the open Pacific Ocean, offering gorgeous views. Its clear and calm waters are ideal for swimming and canoeing. There is good snorkeling off the cape to the north, and this is also a good spot to admire the beautiful sunsets over Mount Tarakani and the coast of Galela.
