We, at the Tourism and Cultural Office of North Halmahera are commited to developing sustainable tourism in our region for the mutual benefit of our visitors and local community alike.

We would also like to promote and raise awareness of our unique traditional cultural heritage both among our own people as well as throughout the country and abroad.

To reach these goals, we are involved in:

• Promoting North Halmahera as a tourist destination.


• Providing support to investors and local communities.


• Providing training and facilities to those involved in developing tourism and culture related activities.


• Identifying and developing sites of interest to visitor.


• Preserving and promoting traditional arts and culture.
